It cannot be denied that the Bible teaches Salvation by Faith. (later I will show that it also teaches that men are judged by their works).

Following are a small sampling proving unequivocally, salvation by faith.

We can safely accept Christ's own words, proving salvation by faith.

Thief on the cross

And he went on to say—Jesus! remember me, whensoever thou shalt come into thy kingdom. And he said unto him—Verily, I say unto thee this day: With me, shalt thou be in Paradise. [Rotherham] Luke 23:42-43

If there weren't salvation by faith, Yahushua [Jesus] could not have assured the thief of salvation in paradise. We are told his works were evil. He was crucified for theft. He did not ask for forgiveness or blotting out of his sins. He did not make restitution. From his own lips he admits his penalty was just:

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds... Luke 23:41

By the law and judgment based on works, he deserved the cross and hell. But he was saved by the faith of Yahweh, the only name that saves. The Master knew that the thief had the Faith of Yahweh, so could be promised Salvation. Any of us can also be saved by Yahweh's faith. Amen.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5

He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:5-13

For by favour are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of יהוה [Yahweh, our god]: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Romans 3:27

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace... Romans 11:5-6

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Acts 13:39

Knowing that a man is NOT justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Yahushua [Jesus] the Messiah [Christ], even we have believed in Yahushua the Messiah, that we might be justified by the faith of the Messiah, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16
